Web Filtering

So why is web filtering so important. Most, not all traffic on a network is TCP 80 (WEB) TCP 443 (Https) UDP 53 (Domain name) and TCP 25 or 110 (email) with that said why not limit your exposure by applying a content filter. If you have the money use a product that offers support. Several of phishing sites will be blocked by default. Plus other nasty thing you dont want on you network.

I subscribe to about 20 rss/xml feeds, I try read them as the come out to stay on top of emerging threats. Being vigilant is a daily routine.

all for now. If you have any questions contact me.
