Happy New Year

Looking back on 2007 the security community has seen an increase in malware and spam. The overall increase in virus's and variants is now at 500,000!!! A bit over whelming.



So what do I see in 2008.

More "Storm worm" and the creation of a artificial intelligent self defending bot net (AISDBN).

Organized crime, foreign countries and malware developers will use new and creative ways to steal money. Not a new concept but an increase in "Money Mule" operations.



But for the good guys more money from business and management to increase the Information Security budget. States now have data breach notifiaction acts and policies to help the Information Security lifecycle.
