Backing up your important files.

What are important files? On my PC mostly documents, mailing lists, financial documents and of course my photos (because I think I'm a Photographer) I recommend an external storage device like a thumb drive of high capacity 200-500Gb external Hard drive. Now a thumb drive is good for maintaing small amounts of data. The large capacity external HDD is great for doing a full system backup including building a system image.

System Images can be built by using programs like Norton Ghost or my favorite Acronis True Image.

You can purchase a 500Gb external HDD for around $180.00 this may seem expensive but well worth the investment to protect your 'Important Files'

so with all that said...Backup your data!!!
